Ken Hoover began his experience with the summer camp program as a parent. His daughter, Lydia, attended the camp nine years straight, first as a camper, and then as a member of the volunteer staff. As a matter of fact, it was Lydia who first spotted the  current site, which has hosted our youth camp for seven years. Mr. Hoover served one year as a counselor in the mid-late 90's and has served as either the camp director or program director ever since. He is once again serving as camp director for this unique summer camp, which boasts a proud history stretching back more than three decades and is now sponsored by the American Opinion Foundation. He and the rest of his team remain committed to providing the best camp experience possible to an ever-growing body of future leaders for our great country.
