At the end of the week solutions to current problems and issues are taught to campers. These solutions include participation in Freedom Generation, the youth organization of The American Opinion Foundation, and reasoned action through programs designed for youth.
Some additional solutions discussed are: The Robert Welch (founder of The John Birch Society) legacy. A Profile of John Birch, a true American hero. How to influence opinion molders in one's community. How to respectfully respond to misinformed teachers and other adults. How to share their new understanding with their friends, peers, and neighbors.
At week’s end, campers attend a semi-formal awards and graduation ceremony where individual campers are recognized for their achievements. Campers part and go home, having gained new friends, lasting memories, and a better understanding of the world. |
