Freedom Generation campers and staff are asked to wear attire that is appropriate for a week at camp, but is also modest and inoffensive to others. Please read our Dress Code guidelines prior to packing for camp.
Freedom Generation Dress Code Guidelines: - Campers are allowed to wear shorts; anything shorter than mid-thigh is forbidden.
- Jeans, khakis, running pants, and other athletic apparel are appropriate for camp.
- Absolutely no halter tops, or spaghetti-strapped or strapless tops may be worn at camp.
- Tee-shirts, Polo shirts, tank-tops, are appropriate; female tops must not be low-cut.
- Clothing that displays inappropriate or suggestive messages or profanity, or references to drugs or alcohol will not be allowed.
- Females should bring an appropriate swimsuit (a modest one-piece or a tankini is appropriate). Males should bring swimming trunks. (Spandex or Speedo-style swimwear is unacceptable.) If there is a question regarding acceptability of swimwear, please bring an alternate with you to camp.
Ultimately, it is up to the counselors and Camp Director to determine if something is inappropriate to wear while at Freedom Generation camp. Campers who do not follow the above guidelines will be asked to change. If infractions persist, expulsion from camp may result. |
